HOW IT WORKS
Our first phone call
01/
After you have sent an enquiry, we will organise a phone call so that we can get to know what you are looking for. We will seek to understand what you are dreaming of for your wedding day. During this time, we can get a feel for whether we are the right fit for each other - the person who captures your day is one of the most important wedding planning choices you will make. We will have a high-level discussion about your day, talk about your schedule, timelines and what vendors you have selected. It’s an ideal opportunity for everyone to ask lots of questions.

After you have paid your deposit, we will set up a contract and provide a questionnaire for you to complete so that we can ensure we have all of the information we need. We will provide lists of preferred vendors or suggestions from cakes and stationery to live music and florists. At this stage we will start to develop a mood board and timeline for your wedding.

Follow us on Instagram, send us messages and share lots of information- we would love to hear and see it all. We recommend booking a pre-wedding (engagement) shoot so that you can feel extremely comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera before the wedding day. A month before the wedding, we will organise to catch up for a coffee so that we can speak about the finer details

FAQs
Our most popular and recommended photography package includes 8 hours of coverage. This provides exceptional value and ensures the best possible coverage of your wedding, telling the story of your unique day from start to finish. It includes capturing moments before the ceremony and/or celebration commences - a part of the day many couples choose to be in different locations for, so it means you get to see the moments you haven’t witnessed in person.
Having longer coverage also means an extended album and more flexibility to tailor the coverage to your preferences. We usually start the day by focusing on the “groom”, or person who identifies as the groom, for about one hour. We then travel to the “bride”, or person who identifies as the bride, capturing the final moments with the makeup artist and donning that oh-so-special attire. This usually takes an hour, however if you have a larger group, or want to capture a separate ‘first-look’ before the ceremony, we can adjust this.We also know that not every couple is made up of a bride and groom, and so this can be tailored to suit your needs.
We aim to arrive at the wedding venue approximately 30-minutes before commencement of the ceremony. This means we’re perfectly positioned to discreetly capture every noteworthy moment. After the ceremony and formal photos, it’s time to move on to the reception where we usually conclude our services 30 minutes after the first dance, or as the lively festivities continue.
The contract is between myself (the photographer), and the couple. If someone else would like to pay for your photography as a gift, it is generally best that this person transfers the payment to you so that you can then pay the invoice. This ensures the contract is legally binding. Rest assured - we can discuss this throughout your consultation.
If you book a short coverage package, and services conclude just after the reception entrance or upon the time a meal such as dinner is due, then usually you do not have to provide food. However, if we are covering the meal service and afterwards, it’s generally expected that the photographer also has a meal. If you are having a second photographer, or videographer, this includes them too.
A few words that come to mind are luxurious, unique and effortlessly styled.
The main shot list we use is a list of required formal photos such as family photos. For the rest of the celebration, I don’t have a prescribed checklist. My approach is to capture and provide bespoke photographs that suit your needs, as no wedding, couple, venue or day is the same. To help me (or my team) to understand what you would like, it can work extremely well to create a Pinterest board that you share - it really helps to align your vision with mine for the day.
We can help you to work out a timeline and work with your vendors to make sure everything is planned out smoothly. The most important thing is to allow yourself enough time to have fun and enjoy the day - packing your schedule can be stressful. Enjoying the moments where it’s just the two of you, and letting your photographer capture these moments to create beautiful portraits is well worth it.
All of my prices are inclusive of GST, including the online store.
This can be a little tricky to explain! As weddings are a private moment, you own the photos. Upon signing the photography contract, you give permission for me to use these photos in a number of ways including advertising and social media to promote my services. If you do not wish for photographs of yourself or family members such as children to be shared, I will of course respect this. We can discuss what you are comfortable with throughout our meetings.
It is an industry standard not to provide RAW (unedited images) to clients. I will take many, many photos on the day, and it would be incredibly overwhelming if you were to receive every angle of a photograph. It’s my job as a wedding photographer to choose the images which show the best angle, lighting, open eyes and everything in between! All of the photos you will receive in your gallery will be fully edited and enhanced in Photoshop. This makes a huge difference to photography, and we promise you - it’s the best approach.
